Jet – Jet is a ten-year-old thoroughbred that my husband Brian bought off the track in 2007. Jet has a tremendous work ethic and is a clever cross country horse. As a result he has moved up through the levels at a steady pace. In 2009, Jet and I placed 9th at the Plantation Field CIC** and 14th at the Fair Hill International CCI**. In 2010 we placed 6th at the Jersey Fresh CIC***, 6th at Plantation Field CIC***, 14th at Bromont CCI***, and 18th at Fair Hill CCI***. Jet is currently qualified for a CCI****.
Monte Carlo – Monte is an eight-year-old Kentucky bred thoroughbred that I purchased as a three-year-old on his way to the track. In 2010 Monte had a very good year at the preliminary level, including a win at the Morven Park Horse Trials in October and a second place finish at the Hagyard Midsouth CCI* later that fall. In 2011 Monte moved up to the intermediate level, placing 2nd at the Rocking Horse Winter Horse Trials and qualifying for a CCI**. This year was a maturing year for Monte and we have our sights set on a spring CCI** in 2012 and then moving up to the advanced level.
Tactical Maneuver – Gucci is a six-year-old bay thoroughbred. I bought him to bring him along as a nice horse in my younger string. He is a quick, elegant, athletic horse with a lot of spring to his step. He had a tremendous year in 2011. He competed in his first horse trials in April and finished the season qualified for a CCI*, garnering ribbons in almost every outing. Gucci will continue to gain education in 2012 as I groom him to be one of my next upper level horses.
Miss Moneypenny – Penny is a three-year-old Irish Sport Horse who was bred by my friend Sally Chappell. I took her into my program in 2010. In April 2011 she represented the Irish Draught Horse Society of North America at the Breed Expo held at the Florida Horse Park. Penny will look to do her first shows next winter as a four-year-old and with her excellent bloodlines she may turn into one of my cornerstone mares for my new breeding program.
